Are you a microschool?
No, we are a holistic enrichment program providing classes, meet ups, events, field trips and roadschooling opportunities for our conscious community and beyond. We provide alternative education in the most un-traditional way; life learning with families as a community and providing thriving opportunities for the next generation and beyond!
Are you a co-op?
No, we do not follow a cooperative framework where parents volunteer their time to provide learning opportunities to learners. We are made up a thriving team of experts in their fields sharing their expertise and experience within the community with the same common missions, philosophies, visions and goals!
Are you a forest school?
No, though we are part of ERAFANS and have certified nature-based educators on our team following an outdoor, nature inspired and nature immersed philosophy in our education methodology.
Are you a learning center?
No, we are a holistic enrichment program predominantly outdoors in our local areas.

What pedagogy style are you associated with?
None, we follow our very own pedagogy philosophy which intertwines several other ones into one cohesive, modernized and adaptive pedagogy style; The Mindful Seedlings kind.
Are you only providing opportunities for homeschoolers?
No, we provide learning and thriving opportunities for all students and their families. We offer morning, afternoon and weekend options; in person and virtually.
What ages do you cater to?
All! We follow a multi-age model with age-appropriate stations for all students and their families;

We also offer opportunities and workshops for parents and adults too.

We provide our program to various localities, though are main headquarters are in West Broward, FL.

Are you a direct provider for the PEP Scholarship?
No, but we do provide receipts and documentation for your reimbursement for both the PEP & UA scholarship.
What do you offer virtually?
We currently offer our monthly virtual clubs every first week of the month with our expert Parent Guides via ZOOM for Seedlings 7+. We will also be establishing our Online Flex component this upcoming year offering opportunities of learning for Seedlings and their families online at anytime, from anywhere.
What educational standards or curriculum do you use?
As a program created by educators passionate about teaching and learning, as well as curriculum formulation with a cumulative educational experience of over 30 years, we are passionate about providing a high standard for enriching and academically challenging opportunities for all learners. Our in-house Conscious Community Curriculum™ created by our expert team is the only curriculum we use at every opportunity.
Are your Guides qualified and background screened?
All of our Lead Guides running parts of our program in various localities have gone through an extensive 3 month Lead Guide Training and Immersion. Our Lead Guides are also background checked and First Aid & CPR certified.

Most of our Parent Guides have qualifications, certifications and or credentials in their own field of teaching, as some of our Lead Guides have too. All our Guides have extensive experience working with children.
Our Assistant Lead Guides are volunteer parents whose children are participant of the program, and they contribute in assisting support and any care needed within the program.

All our Guides are parents, creatives and passionate Edu-Setters ready to make a big impact in the field of Education and Child Development.
How do we register?
You can start off by enjoying a FREE TRIAL CLASS for each student. From then on if you feel resonant with the community and our program then you are welcome to join our FAMILY ANNUAL REGISTRATION. After registering you will have access to our app and all our classes, events, opportunities, communities and more!
Do you offer a sibling discount?
Yes, our sibling discount is 10% off. Options for siblings are shown under each class registration.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes, every Seedling is welcome to an hour free trial class. You can schedule that in our Program section.
When does the scholastic year begin?
Our scholastic year begins first week of September and ends last week of May.
We offer our Summer Program between June & July.
August is a month off for prepping and planning for the next scholastic year and rest.

Will you be expanding beyond South Florida?
Absolutely! We provide annual Lead Guide Training to help expand our program and create conscious community with the hopes of our program being available globally one day!! If this interests you, please check out our Lead Guide Training option.

How old is Mindful Seedlings?
The concept, philosophy and mission behind Mindful Seedlings began in 2020 within a private community of 30-40 like minded families. It organically developed into what it is today by formulating it officially and opening our doors to the public in 2023.
Is Mindful Seedlings a non-profit?
No, we are an LLC under the ownership of Alexandra Loupatatzi Mallia; Founder, Co-Director and Lead Guide.
